I have always had a passion for words. I began writing novels for fun as a teenager and quickly became fascinated by the way words could be woven together into stories—creating vivid worlds, meaningful moments, and lasting impressions.

It was no surprise when I pursued creative writing as my major in English, graduating magna cum laude from Western Washington University in Bellingham, Washington.

Like most life journeys, my path has included twists, turns, and unexpected discoveries. My professional experience has ranged from administrative assistant roles across several industries to managing a chiropractic clinic and even caring for animals as a dog kennel attendant. Through it all, my passion for language remained constant—quietly waiting for the right opportunity to take root.

That opportunity came through proofreading. It became the perfect intersection of passion and precision, allowing me to combine my love of language with my meticulous attention to detail. I find genuine joy in helping clients refine their words and ensure their writing is clear, polished, and ready to make an impact.

I live in rural Minnesota, where I enjoy the peace and privacy of country living. When I’m not working, I can be found reading fiction, watching a wide array of movies, pursuing creative writing projects, or spending time outdoors.
